Amazon’s popular Web Services (AWS) has recently announced the support for mobile application hosting with the software development kits (SDKs) for both Google Android and Apple iOS operating systems. Not only is this groundbreaking news for AWS terms, but as majority of mobile developers are young entrepreneurs, this allows for more “critical” application development on the flexible AWS pricing platform, where developers and publishers only pay for resources used by the applications.
I am sure that AWS is one of the better solutions for hosting mobile apps with the extreme system resources available for just a few bucks, depending on the popularity of the app itself. Instead of huge upfront investments in hardware, software licensed and bandwidth, Amazon Web Services now offers a fantastic solution to all mobile developers to never experience any bottlenecks on their distributed apps.
As more providers of hosted application services and cloud providers are targeting mobile developers we are now in the starting point of a new era for application hosting and distributing content and games for a global market.
